Permanent Resident Visa (PR)

How do you get a Canada permanent resident visa?

Canada PR Visa is popular among those looking to immigrate to Canada. Why not? Many migrants have been attracted to Canada by Canada’s immigrant-friendly policy and the encouragement given to them by the government to settle in Canada.

A Permanent Resident visa (PR) is one of the ways to migrate to Canada. You will receive permanent resident status with a PR Visa. A PR visa has a validity of five years, which can be extended.

You are not a Canadian citizen by the PR visa. Instead, you remain a citizen in your home country. You can enjoy these benefits as a PR Visa holder:

Refugees who come from another country are not automatically considered permanent residents.
