Quebec invites 512 in first Arrima draw of 2022Quebec’s immigration ministry released details of a January 13 immigration draw.

Quebec offered 512 highly skilled employees to submit applications to be selected for a permanent position on the 13th of January.

The Ministere de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Integration (MIFI) invited these immigrant applicants to apply for the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (QSWP).

The candidates invited had to be registered in the Arrima pool that had scores of 602 or more, and their job was in the list of 21 jobs that are targeted for selection:

  • NOC 0213 Computer and information systems managers
  • NOC 2147 Engineers in computer science (except designers and software engineers)
  • NOC 2171 Information Systems Analysts and Consultants
  • NOC 2172 Data analysts and database administrators
  • NOC 2173 Software designers and engineers
  • NOC 2174 Interactive media developers and computer programmers creators
  • NOC 2175 Web developers and designers
  • NOC 2241 Electronics and electrical engineers, technicians and technologists
  • NOC 2281 Computer network technicians
  • NOC 2282 User support technicians
  • NOC 2283 Testing of information systems technicians
  • NOC 3012 Registered nurses and licensed psychiatrist nurses
  • NOC 3233 Licensed Practical Nurses.
  • NOC 3413 Nurse assistants, nurses and patient service personnel
  • NOC 4031 Teachers from secondary schools
  • NOC 4032 Elementary school and kindergarten teachers
  • NOC 4214 Early Childhood teachers and assistants
  • NOC 5131 Choreographers, producers, directors, and other related jobs
  • NOC 5223 Graphic artists technicians
  • NOC 5241 Graphic illustrators and designers
  • NOC 6221 Technical Sales Specialists wholesale trade

The most recent draw was the first draw in Quebec’s calendar for the year. In 2021, 3,564 applicants were invited to submit applications for permanent selection to the province via Arrima.

What is the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program?

This program, known as the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program, is designed for highly skilled professionals who can settle economically in Quebec. It is popular with highly skilled workers and international graduates who want to move to Quebec for work permanently..

Candidates invited to apply for permanent selection will have up to 60 days to complete an application and pay the processing fees. Quebec will process all requests within six months, beginning on the day that all the necessary details have been received. This includes all forms and other documents.
